    Cordless handset for use with the 25423RE1, 25424RE1 and 25425RE1 4-line system.

    • Add a cordless handset to each base station.  A single cordless handset can be added to each base station of the corded 4-line systems 25423RE1, 25424RE1 and 25425RE1 for added office flexibility. No phone jacks are required for additional cordless handsets — just an AC power outlet!
    • DECT 6.0 digital transmission is interference-free.  The Wi-Fi friendly DECT 6.0 frequency offers even clearer calls than 5.8GHz, 2.4GHz or 900MHz phones! This means you'll experience even less interference from other phones or appliances, so you can enjoy static-free phone conversations without disturbing your computer wireless network.
    • Call Waiting/Caller ID† capability.  Great for screening your calls! Caller ID stores up to 99 names and numbers in its memory, so you can easily go back to research who called and when.
    • Accommodates up to 4 lines — ideal for growing businesses.  Dedicate lines to different areas of your business — for small office convenience and big office potential!
    • Speakerphone allows hands-free dialogue.  No need to pick up the handset! Just use the dial-in speakerphone base to make your calls. If you decide to pick up the handset during the call, speakerphone is automatically turned off and the call is transferred to the handset.

      Rated 1 out of 5�by Not practical I ordered this phone + base. For each cordless handset, you must also have a base. If the base is in use, the handset which is connected to it cannot be used. Not useful for my need (single base with multiple handsets to be used at the same time). March 19, 2015
      Rated 1 out of 5�by Poor communication from OD about delivery I ordered the base station and the additional handset. The handset would have worked fine, I guess, but I never received the base and was never told that the order was cancelled until I called to check on it. The handset should not have been sent and I would have appreciated receiving an email telling me that the base was either backordered or cancelled and did I still want this item. Poor communications does not help business. I called and could not get anyone to understand that I should have been notified before this item was shipped to me. Needless to say I have returned the phone without opening it. February 17, 2015
      Rated 1 out of 5�by Not as advertised by Manufacturer The product is sold as a 4 line phone system with expandable lines, it also stated that a cordless can be used, IT DOESN'T TELL YOU THAT YOU NEED TO PURCHASE A BASE PHONE FOR EACH HANDHELD PHONE AND THAT THE HANDHELD CAN ONLY BE USED FOR THE LINE THE CALL CAME IN ON, NOT VERY HELPFUL. I purchased the system believing I could have 4 hand held phones and be able to answer any line from the hand held WRONG. I finally purchased a Panasonic system for my needs. March 15, 2014
      Rated 5 out of 5�by Matching Portable This is the first portable with our new 4-line RCA phone system. The handset is easy to set-up and is "wireless" to base phone, so one can place anywhere there's an outlet. Currently can only add 1 portable per (corded) base; in certain instances it could be beneficial to have @ least 2 portable phones per base. There's a lot of buttons and some memorization to do before you can use all functions, such as "call transfer" & "paging another handset or base". Overall, this is a great and essential addition to our new system. The phones we purchased have worked perfectly from day one..."not one single issue"! Thanks to RCA and OfficeMax! December 19, 2011
